Bay Nature Event: Marine Mammal Center

04/24/2026 09:00 AM - 10:00 AM PT

Description

Join Bay Nature and The Marine Mammal Center for a private tour on Friday, April 24 from 9am - 10am in Sausalito. This exclusive experience takes place in the morning, before the Center opens to the public. During this 60-minute walking tour led by one of our expert-trained docents, you’ll hear inspiring stories of marine mammal survival, learn more about the inner workings of the hospital and find out how you can make a difference for these vulnerable patients. Afterward, stay to check out the marine mammal exhibits and explore the ocean-themed gift shop. Tickets are free for Bay Nature Members.

Meet your event leaders:
Laura Gill is the Public Programs Manager at The Marine Mammal Center, where she leads the development of engaging tours, behind-the-scenes experiences, and public programs. Laura holds a B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and previously worked in education leadership roles at Aquarium of the Bay, The Sea Lion Center, and the Roundhouse Aquarium.

Meet up Location: 2000 Bunker Rd, Sausalito, CA 94965. Google Maps Link. Meet outside at the entrance to the gift shop at the top of the stairs for registration. Ramp for ADA purposes. Roughly 85% of the tour will be outside, in a covered area.
