Description

The Ocean Issue, our saltiest rag to date, from guest editors Eric Simons and Tessa Hill. We take a boat ride to see teeming birds at the Farallones, explore the deep sea with ROVs and AI, consider how marine life is faring in hot water, and meet thousands of buoys sending us ocean intel. We bend down to meet the mole crab, a master hustler, and learn some wave physics. We commune with rocks at Salt Point. We soar over the Bay.
